So honored to produce this 💪 monumental
Imagine listening to someone as a kid and then make a song with him. Joyner not coming slow
Its kinda wierd, that Will raps better then most of the mumble rappers.
RIP to James Avery. Got emotional seeing him and Will hug.
RIP to Uncle Phil, the father who really raised me.
Will is the GOAT at life 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Can we just appreciate that Will didn't use a single cuss word
This song is
Nobody talking about how hard the beat is
“I wouldn’t be Willie without Philly.”
Will Smith got more Bars than the current rap game
That scene with James Avery on Fresh Prince when he hugged him got to me. I still remember that scene making me cry as a kid because it was so powerful. It was right after Will's dad on the show left him again after showing up for only a few days after years of having abandoned him. Uncle Phil was telling Will he left cause he didn't even have the courage to tell him face to face and Will starts going off about how he doesn't need him anyway. Then he just stops and says, "Why don't he want me, man?" Then Phil hugged him. That and the last episode made me cry like a baby even as a kid. Idk why I felt like commenting on that specifically with how amazing EVERYTHING he said in this song was. It's just coincidental that they would use that scene there and it also happens to be one of the first things I think about when someone mentions Will Smith. 🤷♂️
Will called him a legend in the making. Would've cried like a baby lol
When he said RIP to James Avery and they showed that hug from the show, that just hit me hard!
The way Will respects those who came before him, those in their prime, his nods to his old music, those who passed on, his fam and Joyner as well is heart warming.
People forget Will Smith was a rapper before he was an actor. Such a solid verse from Will
[Intro: Joyner Lucas]
Seeing Joyner Lucas praising Will by using all his blockbuster movies then Will just casually dropping a verse on the track like "oh I do this too" is pretty amazing
"I feel like a prince that turned into a king. Found me a queen; had me some kids started a family and turn into a team." I love that part
August Alsina crying to this song right now
